The Lenton Method® : Science-Backed Therapy

You don't have to navigate your dog's recovery alone. Our therapists are here to guide you through every step of their journey. The results speak for themselves: 95% of dogs respond positively to the Lenton Method within just 1 to 3 treatments.

We also believe in integrity over everything. Our therapists are trained to recognise when massage isn't the answer, ensuring your dog is always referred to the right specialist or back to your vet when necessary.

What to Expect: Our 3-Step Approach to Wellness

1

Comprehensive Assessment

We start by looking at the big picture. Your therapist provides a full consultation, including gait and postural analysis as well as a full body palpation, to identify both the primary source of pain and the secondary compensatory issues your dog may be hiding.

2

Targeted Clinical Massage

We use a bespoke blend of the Lenton Method™ (neuromyofascial release), Sports massage, Indirect MFR, Deep Tissue, and Swedish techniques. Every session is tailored to your dog's specific pathology and comfort levels.

3

Integrated Home Care Plan

The therapy doesn't end when the session does. You'll receive a personalised home care plan with actionable recommendations to support your dog's progress and ensure long-lasting improvements in their quality of life.

The 5 Principles of Pain

Use our proprietary assessment framework to identify if your dog is silently suffering. These are the key signs our therapists look for. Hover or tap the cards to explore.

Gait Abnormalities

Limping, carrying a leg, stiff when moving, throwing a leg outwards or inwards, hopping, skipping, or a lack of reach and drive in their stride.

Postural Changes

Coat changes, roaching (hunched back), swayback, twitching skin, inexplicable tremors, abnormal tail or head carriage, or an inability to sit/stand square.

Behavioral Shifts

Reluctance to be petted, becoming withdrawn or depressed, self-mutilation (nibbling an area), snapping when touched, increased anxiety or clinging.

Performance Decline

Slowing down on walks, knocking agility poles, early onset fatigue in working dogs, or any noticeable deviation from what is 'normal' for your dog's activity levels.

Daily Living

Struggling with the sofa, stairs, or getting in the car. Pacing at night, sitting down to eat, collar shyness, or difficulty rising from a resting position.

After just 3 sessions with our Guild Therapist, my dog is running on the beach again like a puppy. I honestly didn't think we'd ever see him this happy and mobile. It has been completely life-changing.
